Kiltix® 3.02 g + 0.68 g collar for medium-sized dogs is a veterinary medicinal product for the control of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), the wood tick (Ixodes ricinus) and the brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) as well as for protection against new infestations.
The collar is effective against ticks and fleas for up to 6 months after application. Ideally, the collar should be applied before the start of the flea and tick season.

Application
- Mode of action: The collars continuously release their active ingredient in the form of a powder onto the coat and skin. As the animal moves, the powder is also distributed to more distant parts of the body such as the tail, croup and legs. Overdosing is not possible when using just one band.
- Application safety: 2-stage safety lock on the collar for small dogs and on the collar for cats. Release mechanism on the collar for large dogs.
- Contraindications: Do not use on cats under 6 months of age. Do not use on puppies less than 7 weeks old.
- Remove the collar from the protective cover immediately before use. Unroll the collar and make sure that there are no remnants of the plastic connections on the inside of the collar. Place the collar around the animal's neck without pulling it too tight (note: it should be possible to place two fingers between the collar and the neck). Pull the protruding end of the collar through the tabs and cut off any excess length of more than 2 cm.
- The skin around the neck should be checked in the first few days after the collar is put on, as not every animal can tolerate the pressure of a collar. The collar should be worn without interruption for 6 months and then removed. The correct fit of the collar should be checked regularly and the accuracy of fit adjusted, especially for fast-growing puppies. Any remnants or cut-off parts of the collar should be disposed of immediately.
