• Bromelain is extracted from pineapple. It aids digestion and is also used in gel form for topical application.
• The enzyme papain is extracted from papaya and has beneficial effects on the body. Athletes also use papain to shorten muscle recovery time following intensive training sessions.
• Pancreatin is derived from the pancreas of pigs. The enzyme pancreatin is now used to treat digestive problems, as it helps to improve the functioning of the digestive system.
• In addition to these enzymes, KaRazym® contains rutin , a phytochemical also known as a flavonoid. Rutin acts as an antioxidant in the body, i.e. it reduces free radicals.

• Thanks to its composition, it helps muscle soreness subside more quickly. If KaRazym® is taken before the muscles are put under strain, this further reduces the symptoms of muscle soreness and has a preventative effect.
• Amidst the busy schedule of training sessions and competitions, it is easy to forget that the body also needs recovery phases to reach its full performance potential. Yet muscle recovery provides the decisive edge in performance development. According to recent studies, taking enzyme supplements (e.g. KaRazym®) is beneficial for accelerating muscle recovery following intense exertion.

• Bruises are among the most common problems faced by athletes, particularly in sports involving direct physical contact. Thanks to its composition, KaRazym® can support the recovery process in the affected area and help you return to sporting activity more quickly.

• A bruise, a fall, a knock or intense physical contact during team sports – it’s all too easy to end up with a bruise . Although this unsightly ‘souvenir’ is usually harmless, it typically adorns the body – painfully and colourfully – for two weeks. KaRazym® helps to speed up the recovery process following a bruise, enabling you to return to sport more quickly.

Directions for use

• Normally 2 x 2 tablets per day; if required, up to 2 x 3 tablets per day. KaRazym® tablets should be taken one hour before or two hours after a meal, swallowed whole with plenty of liquid (around ¼ l).
• Taking KaRazym® alongside other medication may enhance the effects of blood-thinning agents (e.g. Marcoumar®). You should therefore not use KaRazym® if you are taking blood-thinning medication.
