Instructions
- Before carrying out the test, check that test spots A and B are dry.
- Using your finger, place one drop of the drink onto each of test spots A and B.
- Rub the drop into the test spot and ensure that the substances on test spots A and B do not mix.
- Wait 2 minutes for the test spots to dry.
- If test spot A and/or B turn dark blue, the test is positive.
Notes: Coloured drinks may cause a slight change in the colour of the test area. However, this does not constitute a positive result. Tap water and certain types of mineral water may temporarily cause a blue tinge to appear on the test areas. This disappears once dry and should not be interpreted as a positive result. The KO Drop Test must not be used with dairy products or drinks containing dairy products (such as cream liqueurs), or with blue-coloured drinks. If you are unsure, leave your drink alone and do not consume it.
