KAL Rutin 250 mg tablets are a dietary supplement containing 250 mg rutin concentrate, which is extracted from the Japanese cord tree. Rutin belongs to the secondary plant substances in the group of flavonoids.

Rutin is a secondary plant substance which, together with other flavonoids, serves as a protective substance for plants. Rutin has a yellowish colour and is mainly found in flowers, leaves and plant stems. Plant foods that are particularly rich in rutin include buckwheat, St. John's wort, parsley, elderberries and white mulberries.
