Imazol® 10 mg/g paste for application to the skin is an over-the-counter medicine containing the active substance: clotrimazole, for the treatment of fungal infections (mycoses) - e.g. napkin dermatitis caused by yeasts.
Imazol Paste is a medicinal product for the treatment of:
- Fungal infections (mycoses) that can be treated with clotrimazole (e.g. nappy rash caused by yeasts).
Fungal infections occur when there is an excessive growth of fungi, which are always found on the skin. The skin then reacts with burning, itching, flaking and painful inflammation. A reliable diagnosis of a fungal infection can only be made by a doctor.

How to use
- Apply a thin layer of Imazol Paste once or twice a day, in the morning or morning and evening, to the affected areas of skin and rub in.
- Children and adolescents: Imazol Paste is used in adults, adolescents and children from 1 month of age.
- Method of application: Please spread the paste slightly beyond the edges of the affected areas of skin. For an area of skin about the size of the palm of your hand, one strand of approx. ½ cm of paste is sufficient.
- Duration of application: It is crucial for the success of the treatment that the paste is applied regularly and for a sufficiently long period of time. You should not stop the treatment once the inflammation and discomfort have subsided. Continue to apply the paste for at least another 3 weeks. In the case of nappy rash, a slight improvement in the symptoms should be noticeable within 3 days. Treatment should be continued for a total of 7 days. If the dermatitis worsens or there is no improvement after 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.
