Ibuprofen Rat & Tat 400 mg painkillers are a non-prescription medicine containing the active ingredient: ibuprofen. An effective painkiller and antipyretic for the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.

Ibuprofen, the active ingredient in Ibuprofen Rat & Tat, is a substance with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Ibuprofen Rat & Tat is used in adults, adolescents and children aged 6 years and over who weigh at least 20 kg for the treatment of

• Mild to moderately severe pain (such as headaches, toothache and period pains)
• Pain and fever due to colds

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents (from the age of 12) ≥ 40 kg: single dose - 1 film-coated tablet (equivalent to 400 mg ibuprofen); maximum daily dose - 3 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 1,200 mg ibuprofen).
• Children Ibuprofen Rat & Tat must not be used in children under 6 years of age or in children over 6 years of age who weigh less than 20 kg due to the excessive amount of active ingredient.
• Route of administration: Oral use. The film-coated tablets should be taken whole with plenty of liquid (e.g. a glass of water) and with meals (not on an empty stomach). The tablet can be divided into equal doses. There should be at least 6 hours between two doses.
• Duration of use: This medicine is intended for short-term treatment only. Treatment with ibuprofen should not exceed 3-4 days in adults and 3 days in children and adolescents. If your symptoms persist beyond this period, consult your doctor

Ingredients

• The active substance is Ibuprofen. 1 film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen.
• The other ingredients are Tablet core: lactose monohydrate, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, carboxymethyl starch sodium, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate Tablet coating: poly(vinyl alcohol), macrogol 3350, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), carminic acid (E 120), yellow orange S (E 110).
