IVEX cough syrup, 100 ML

IVEX Cough Syrup 35 mg/1 ml is a medical device for the treatment of dry and wet (productive) coughs, containing ivy extract, blossom honey, milk thistle extract and thyme extract. For adults and children aged 12 months and over.

Ivex Syrup is a medicinal product which, thanks to natural extracts with proven efficacy, forms a mucoadhesive film that alleviates coughing, protects against irritation and helps to improve the function of the upper respiratory tract, particularly in winter or when exposed to adverse external factors (cold, smog, dust and smoke).

Directions for use

• Shake the bottle before use. Take preferably between meals.
• Children aged 1 to 4 years: 5 ml twice daily.
• Children aged 4 years and over: 10 ml twice daily.
  
• If symptoms do not subside after 3 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor. Take this medicinal product at least one hour before going to bed: the sugar content may stimulate the child’s activity.
• Notes: This medicinal product forms a protective barrier on the mucous membrane; it is recommended that you wait 45–60 minutes after taking it before eating and/or drinking. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before administering this product to children under three years of age. Read the package leaflet carefully.

Composition: Extract of common ivy (Hedera helix L., DER 1–2:1) with a standardised content of hederagenin 3.5 per cent, blossom honey, marshmallow extract (Althaea officinalis L.) 1% rich in mucilage, common thyme extract (Thymus vulgaris L.) 0.3%, fructose, purified water, xanthan gum, flavouring, citric acid, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate.
