Treatment of skin warts, palmoplantar and periungual warts, as well as condylomas
What is Verrutop®?
Verrutop® is a topical solution based on Nitrizinc Complex® for the treatment of skin warts, palmoplantar and periungual warts, as well as condylomas. For skin warts, palmoplantar and periungual warts, the efficacy is 90 per cent, with an average of three and a maximum of six treatment applications. For genital warts, the efficacy of Verrutop® is over 87% after three to four treatment applications. In some cases, complete resolution has been observed after a single treatment application.
How does Verrutop® work?
When Verrutop® is applied to a wart,
a chemical reaction takes place which leads to mummification
of the tissue (drying out and cell destruction), and
the colour of the wart changes (white/grey/yellowish).
Over time, this mummification leads to the spontaneous detachment
of the wart.

Directions for use
BEFORE USING VERRUTOP®, AN
ACCURATE MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS IS REQUIRED.
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
- Open the ampoule and insert the capillary tube. The liquid will rise to the top. Once the capillary tube is filled with the liquid, cover the top hole with a finger to control the flow of liquid out of the tube.
- Apply directly to the wart(s). The colour of the wart’s skin will change (white/grey/yellowish). If there are several warts, separate treatment is required during a single application.
- Apply the required amount of product, depending on the size of the wart, to cover it, but do not use too much. If a repeat application is necessary, wait 15 to 30 seconds between applications.
- After a minimum treatment period of one to two weeks (depending on the location), the patient must be examined by a doctor to assess whether the wart has been removed or whether the product needs to be reapplied.
