IODOSORB Ointment is a medical device and actively supports the healing of infected and non-infected chronic wounds. The special formulation helps to remove wound coatings and promote granulation.

Long-term antiseptic effect, combined with an ideally moisturised wound environment. IODOSORB contains a cadexomer iodine matrix that releases iodine continuously and as required. This ensures a reliable antiseptic effect. Studies have shown that the effect of IODOSORB lasts longer than that of conventional PVP iodine1. Not only with methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA), but also with other pathogens such as P. aeruginosa. The highly hydrophilic cadexomer matrix in IODOSORB absorbs up to 6 ml of wound exudate per g of cadexomer iodine. The hydrogel formed protects against drying out and creates an ideal moist wound environment. IODOSORB can remain on the wound for up to 3 days - sterile.

How to use
