Iron is a macro-element, i.e. one of the minerals present in the body in the largest quantities.

Iron is an important component of haemoglobin, the protein that transports oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body, and of myoglobin, the protein that supplies oxygen to the muscles. This mineral is also involved in the activity of numerous enzymes and the body needs it for the formation of certain hormones and connective tissue.

The foods richest in iron are liver, meat and fish. Many vegetables also contain good amounts. We find it in pulses (such as beans, peas and lentils), cereals, dried fruit and dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach.

Iron IBSA is a dietary supplement containing iron and folic acid, which are involved in numerous functions in the human body.

FilmTec® technology

The new formulations, which consist of an ultra-thin strip of small size (thickness 50-150 μm), dissolve in seconds as soon as they are placed in the mouth, ensuring rapid bioavailability of ingredients. Directions for use

• 1 enamel film per day for at least 20 days, unless your doctor recommends otherwise. Remove the melting film from the packaging, place on the tongue and allow to dissolve slowly.
• Advice: Do not touch the melting film with wet hands. The expiry date refers to the product that has been properly stored in intact packaging. Store in a cool and dry place, not above 25°C. Avoid heat, light and temperature fluctuations. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Store out of the reach of small children. Intended for adults. Men, postmenopausal women and pregnant women should only take iron after consulting their doctor.
