Hypafix® is a skin-friendly and elastic adhesive fleece for the fixation of wound dressings, probes, catheters and much more. Hypafix has good immediate and permanent adhesive strength and good air and water vapour permeability.
Hypafix® can be used to fix large-area dressings quickly and easily. It consists of a polyester fleece coated with a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive and is completely latex-free. Thanks to its transverse elasticity, it adapts perfectly to the contours of the body and therefore does not restrict the patient's freedom of movement. Another advantage is that constriction, congestion and circulatory problems are prevented.

Application
Hypafix® is used all over the body. It is particularly suitable for full-surface fixation of wound dressings. As an indication, this adhesive fixation is particularly suitable for joints, moving and contoured parts of the body.
Instructions for use:
- Cut to size: Select the required width of your Hypafix® and cut it to size so that it overlaps the wound dressing on all sides by at least 3 - 4 cm.
- Remove the cover film: Once the Hypafix® is the right size, remove the pre-cut cover film on one side.
- Applying the dressing fixation: Apply the adhesive side of the Hypafix® to the skin, remove the second part of the film and carefully smooth it over the wound dressing.
- Smooth out: Finally, smooth the Hypafix® over the wound dressing and, if necessary, smooth out any slight creases at the edges.
