Hydrocoll® is a sterile, rapidly absorbent hydrocolloid dressing for moist wound treatment. It is suitable for the treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds, particularly wounds with a poor healing tendency and protracted granulation build-up.
Absorbent, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing with semi-permeable, germ-proof top layer, creates a moist wound environment by gel conversion of the hydrocolloid dressing components, whereby the gel remains absorbent until the hydrocolloids are saturated, promotes granulation and epithelialisation without removing wound irritation, available in various designs and cuts.

Application
For moist wound treatment of clinically non-infected, weakly to moderately exuding wounds, especially wounds with a poor healing tendency and protracted granulation build-up, e.g. ulcus cruris or decubitus, 2nd degree burns, Hydrocoll sacral is used for decubital ulcerations in the sacral area, Hydrocoll concave on the heel or elbow.
