It detects the presence of anti-tTg-IGA antibodies in the blood within a few minutes and thus reveals a possible gluten intolerance.
What is coeliac disease?
Coeliac disease, also known as sprue or gluten intolerance, is an autoimmune, inflammatory bowel disease in which the body reacts to the gluten protein gluten, which is contained in bread, pasta, pizza, beer, muesli and breaded meat, for example, with a reaction of the immune system. It is a lifelong disease that cannot be cured. Only the causes of gluten intolerance can be combated.
Symptoms
If there is an intolerance to the gluten protein gluten, gastrointestinal complaints or skin irritations often occur after eating cereals containing gluten. Typical symptoms of gluten intolerance are
