Histofreezer® is the proven cryosurgical system for the uncomplicated, bloodless and painless removal of warts and other benign skin lesions with minimal risk of scarring.
Thanks to its compact size and easy handling, the therapeutic agent is particularly suitable for dermatologists and surgeons, but also for general practitioners and paediatricians.
The compact aerosol bottle contains a liquid gas mixture of dimethyl ether, propane and isobutane. Special applicators are filled with the gas mixture at the simple touch of a finger and cool down to -55°C within a few seconds by changing the aggregate state, the optimum temperature for wart freezing. No sterile environment is required, no anaesthesia and the right applicator size is available for every indication: small (2 mm) and medium (5 mm).
Further advantages for the doctor are the high cost-effectiveness in comparison to the provision of liquid nitrogen and the high patient acceptance.
