Helo Acid Dragees are a dietary supplement for the treatment of digestive disorders caused by a lack of gastric juice or acid and a lack of ferment in the stomach.

Effect of Helo-Acid for acid deficiency

• Helo-Acid tablets contain the proteolytic enzyme pepsin, fruit acids and lactic acid. The effect is based on the digestive properties of the organic acids and the digestive power of the gastric enzyme pepsin.
• They fulfil the various tasks of natural gastric juice, above all the preparation of food and the protection of the stomach against bacterial colonisation with fermentation and putrefaction bacteria. Helo-Acid can also have a positive effect on the stomach's own acid formation.
• Helo-Acid must not be taken in the case of a hypersecretory irritable stomach or pyloric stenosis.

How to use

• To be taken with a little liquid, for digestive complaints due to a lack of acid and ferment in the stomach. It is best to swallow 1 tablet in the morning, 2 tablets at lunchtime and 2 tablets in the evening without chewing.
• Note: The simultaneous intake of so-called "base powders" can reduce the effectiveness.

Ingredients

• Citric acid, tartaric acid, calcium lactate, pepsin, bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids, coating agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, coating agent: hydroxypropylcellulose, anti-caking agent: titanium dioxide, medium-chain triglycerides.
• 1 tablet contains 120mg citric acid, 100mg tartaric acid and 8.2mg pepsin.
• The total acid content of one tablet of Helo-Acid is roughly equivalent to 34ml of 0.1 N-HCl.
