- Clean the wound: A clean and cleansed wound is the first step towards optimum healing. To effectively protect the wound from infection, spray Hansaplast Wound Spray onto the entire wound from a distance of approx. 10cm to remove dirt and visible particles. Repeat if necessary. Then carefully dry the wound and the surrounding skin. For further information and instructions for use, please read the package leaflet. Important: As a rule, minor injuries stop bleeding after a short time. If the bleeding does not stop, apply pressure to the wound with a compress and contact a healthcare professional.
- Protect the wound: The second step is to protect the wound from external influences such as dirt and bacteria to allow it to heal undisturbed. Protect your wound with a moist wound healing plaster or a sterile wound dressing from Hansaplast. The Hansaplast Fast Healing Plaster can be worn for several days before it needs to be changed. No wound ointment is required when using the Hansaplast Fast Healing Plaster. The wound dressing ensures a moist wound environment with optimum wound healing conditions for faster wound healing.
- Treat the wound: In a third step, you can help your wound to heal safely, quickly and with less risk of scarring. To do this, apply Hansaplast wound ointment regularly until the wound is completely healed. Hansaplast wound ointment can be applied to smaller, superficial wounds at any stage of the healing process. If necessary, cover the wound with a plaster, a sterile wound dressing or a Hansaplast compress.
