Halset is effective against bacteria and fungi, whichare more common in inflammation of the mouth andthroat.
Halset lozenges are used as a supportive treatment for mild tomoderate inflammation of the throat and oral cavity (sore throat, inflammationof the oral mucosa and gums).
Halset is used in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age.

Directions for use
For use in the oral cavity.
Allow the tablets to dissolve slowly in the mouth to achieve an optimum effect (do notbite).
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age
- 1 tablet at intervals of 1-2 hours (maximum 8 tablets per day).
Children from 6 - 12 years
- 1 tablet at intervals of 3-4 hours (maximum 4 tablets per day).
The specified dosage must not be exceeded.
Do not use with other antiseptics (medicines for the treatment of localised infections).
Ingredients
The active substance is: cetylpyridinium chloride.H2O
Each tablet contains 1.5 mg cetylpyridinium chloride.H2O.
The other ingredients are: Sorbitol (E420) 742.4 mg (equivalent to 0.06 BE), peppermint oil 1.2mg; racemic menthol 1.2 mg; magnesium stearate.
