Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital can be used for the following indications:
- for irritated or dry eyes caused by wearing contact lenses
- for fatigue
- for prolonged computer work
- when spending time in smoky rooms
- exposure to general environmental influences such as dust particles, pollen, etc.
What is Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital?
- Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital is a sterile, phosphate-free wetting agent in the innovative Safe-Drop® system, a preservative-free multi-dose container co-developed by OmniVision . Itcan be optimally applied withthe help of the practical wide finger rest.
- Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital contains hyaluronic acid and eyebright tincture and is used to moisten and moisturise the surface of the eye.
- Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that alsooccurs in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film , making it particularly well tolerated . It is characterised by a high water-binding capacity , adheres well to the surface of the eye (mucoadhesive properties) and is viscoelastic. Eyebright extracts have antioxidant and soothing properties: they have been used in folk medicine since the Middle Ages to alleviate symptoms such as conjunctival and eyelid irritation , as well as watery eyes.
- Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital thus moisturises, moistens and protects the surface of the eye.
- Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital eye drops bring relief and soothe irritated or dry eyes.
- The eye drops are also suitable for wetting contact lenses. This significantly improves the wearing comfort of contact lenses.

How to use
- If required, instil 1 - 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye and distribute by blinking.
- For external use only, wash and dry hands before use.
Method of application:
- Before the first application , please document the expiry date in the space provided on the bottle label. Removethe protective cap before each use.
- Before using the SafeDrop® bottle for the first time, please apply several pressure movements until the first drop is produced. Hold the bottle upside down as shown in the illustration . Please avoid any contact of the dropper tip with your fingers and eyes.
- Hold the bottle as shown in the picture . Make sure that your thumb is resting on the wide, non-slip, round finger rest .
- Now lean your head back slightly (neck position) and pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye with your free hand. Instil one to two drops of Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital into the conjunctival sac of each eye by pressing the pump mechanism once or twice, making sure that the bottle is held vertically . Close your eyes slowly so that Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital can spreadevenly over the surface of the eye.
Tip: Alternatively, if the drops are used in conjunction with contact lenses, apply one to two drops to each contact lens before inserting them into your eyes instead of putting the drops directly into your eyes. Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Vital can also be drippedwhile wearing contact lenses
