Product information "Granudacyn® wound gel"
Granudacyn® wound gel ideal for cleansing and moisturising acute, chronic and contaminated wounds as well as first and second degree burns. Facilitates the removal of encrusted wound dressings.
Granudacyn® is a wound gel for cleansing and moisturising acute, chronic and contaminated wounds as well as first and second degree burns. Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) ensures safe preservation and makes Granudacyn® a reliable wound gel. HOCl prevents the spread of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including MRSA, ORSA, VRSA, as well as viruses, fungi and spores in the solution.

- All acute wounds such as cuts, bites, lacerations, lacerations and abrasions
- Surgical wounds (intraoperative and postoperative)
- Wounds with exposed cartilage, tendons, ligaments and/or bones
- Radiation ulcers
- Fistulas and abscesses
- Body cavities such as ear, nose, mouth
- Critically colonised or infected (adjuvant here) wounds
- Soft tissue injuries

Application
- If there are still residues of the gel in the wound when the dressing is changed, these can simply be rinsed out with Granudacyn® wound irrigation solution.
- The gel is applied to the cleaned wound in a layer thickness of 2-5 mm and can be left on the wound for up to three days.
- All standard wound dressings are suitable for covering the wound. If Granudacyn® Wound Gel is applied to wound cavities, these must also be padded with a suitable wound filler (e.g. alginates or hydrofibres).
