GlaucoMac is used for the dietary treatment of AMD and glaucoma (age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma) using a dual mode of action for prevention and as a supportive measure by improving blood circulation and supply to the macula and protecting the optic nerve.

The vitamin B complex consists of the following seven B vitamins:

Vitamin B1 regulates carbohydrate metabolism and energy production.

Vitamin B2 maintains the clarity of the lens and is responsible for energy production.

Vitamin B3 regulates insulin and blood sugar levels, strengthens nerves, has an antioxidant effect and prevents arteriosclerosis.

Vitamin B5 acts as a control function in the overall metabolism, cell regeneration and promotes wound healing.

Vitamin B6 is responsible for protein metabolism, the nervous system and haematopoiesis. Promotes the immune system.

Vitamin B11 is involved in the formation and maturation of red blood cells and is important for the development and function of the nervous system and cell structure.

Vitamin B12 is important for the formation of the myelin sheaths of the nervous system.

Vitamin C and E

Ginkgo

The oldest living plant fossil provides us with valuable ingredients that were already mentioned in Chinese medicine in 200 BC. Above all, the circulation-promoting effect makes the extract of its leaves particularly valuable for ophthalmology (retinal circulation).
Thanks to this improvement in blood circulation, the retina can be optimally supplied with the nutrients supplied by glaucoMac. Its ingredients are also capable of scavenging harmful free radicals (radical scavengers). Ginkgo has 5 times the antioxidant effect of blueberries.

Lutein and zeaxanthin

These two colour pigments are essential for the antioxidant protection of the back of the eye, which is particularly damaged by
the back of the eye, which is particularly damaged by UV light.
In humans, lutein and zeaxanthin in combination play an essential role in vision.
They act as a light protection factor for the sensory cells. Harmful blue and UV light is thus filtered out (biological sunglasses).

A deficiency would have a negative effect on dry eyes.
Some of them are components of cell membranes and therefore have a modulating effect on cell functions.
However, their importance for the finest blood vessels in our eyes has also been recognised relatively recently. The positive effect of these fatty acids in combating macular degeneration has been confirmed by serious studies and is already standard in modern medicine. Signal transmission from the eye to the brain is made possible and at the same time the eye adapts to darkness.
Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids are components of the retina and cannot be produced by the human body.
Additional positive effect: inhibition of thrombosis formation.

Recommended intake

1 capsule daily or as directed by the therapist. Take with plenty of liquid. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
