This digital upper-arm blood pressure monitor is particularly easy to use. At the touch of a button, it measures your blood pressure and displays the reading clearly on the LCD screen. TheGeratherm® smartcuff is adjustable from 22 to 32 cm in diameter, so it fits any arm. For a larger arm circumference, the universal cuff is available with a circumference of 22 to 42 cm. With the basic model, checking for high blood pressure is straightforward. TheGeratherm® smart also impresses with its particularly quiet operation.

Does the device detect an irregular heartbeat?
Yes, theGeratherm® smart displays this. However, please note that the display indicates that a pulse irregularity resulting from an irregular heartbeat was detected during the measurement. This is not usually a cause for concern.
However, if this symbol appears frequently, we recommend that you seek medical advice.

Can I change the battery in this product?
Yes, the battery can be replaced.

Does it matter whether the measurement is taken on the left or right arm?
The measurement can be taken on either the left or right arm. However, subsequent measurements should always be taken on the same arm – preferably the arm on which the higher blood pressure is measured.
Why does my blood pressure fluctuate throughout the day?
Blood pressure varies several times a day. It is influenced by a wide range of factors. You should therefore take measurements under the same conditions.
What material is the cuff made of?
Please do not use this device if you are allergic to polyester, nylon or plastic.
Can pregnant women use this device to measure their blood pressure?
Pregnant women should consult a doctor before using the device to assess the suitability of the measurement method. In some cases, measurement deviations may occur. Pregnant women are therefore advised to have regular check-ups with their doctor, as clinical validation has not been carried out on pregnant women.
