Convenient and contactless fever measurement

The Geratherm® non Contact is an infrared thermometer that works without contact. It is particularly hygienic as you can measure without touching the body. The precision infrared thermometer measures body temperature from 34°C to 42.2°C with a high degree of accuracy. It has a visual and audible fever indicator and comes with a practical storage case.

How to use

1. Press the on/off button . The display is activated and shows all segments for 2 seconds. The thermometer performs a self-test each time it is switched on to ensure the prescribed measurement accuracy at all times.
2. The value of the last measurement automatically appears on the display for 2 seconds with the "M" symbol.
3. The thermometer is ready for measurement as soon as the °C or °F symbol flashes and a beep sounds.
4. Press the mode button until a head appears on the display. You are now in the mode: Measure body temperature.
5. Aim the thermometer at the centre of the forehead at a distance of less than 5 cm. If the forehead is covered with hair, sweat or dirt, clean it first so that the measurement accuracy is optimised.
6. Press the START button and move the thermometer evenly from the centre of the forehead to the temple area (approx. 1 cm above the eyebrow). The blue indicator light that is switched on shows the measuring range.
7. After 3 seconds, a long beep will sound to confirm the end of the measurement. If the temple area is not reached before the beep sounds, repeat the measurement as described above, but move the thermometer faster.
8. Read the measured temperature from the display. - If the measured value is below 37.5 °C (99.4 °F), a long beep sounds and the result is displayed with a green background light. - If the measured value is greater than or equal to 37.5 °C (99.4 °F), 10 short beeps sound and the result is displayed with a red background light.
