Ribwort plantain (Plantago lanceolata L.) belongs to the plantain family (Plantaginaceae). Our recipe consists of an extract of ribwort plantain leaves mixed with syrup. The ingredients of ribwort plantain include mucilage, silicic acid, flavonoids, tannins and bitter substances. Ribwort plantain has been used in naturopathy for centuries. This syrup unfolds its beneficial properties particularly in the cold season
