- Quercetin is a flavonoid with a strong antioxidant effect. Our current living conditions - high levels of physical and mental stress, an unbalanced diet and negative environmental influences - promote the formation of free radicals. They damage the cells and are therefore involved in the development of many diseases. Coenzyme Q-10 can render free radicals harmless.
- Onions and the plant substance quercetin are said to have effects on the prevention of age-related vascular changes. They also have an antibacterial, lipid-lowering, blood pressure-lowering and appetite-enhancing effect.
