Sodium bicarbonate is the trivial name of the chemical compound sodium hydrogen carbonate, the sodium salt of carbonic acid. The hydrogen carbonate anion has the ability to bind protons and thus neutralise acids. The pH value of sodium hydrogen carbonate is in the alkaline range at pH 8.5. This has a number of advantages for the organism, for example when certain milieus need to be regulated, to increase the buffering capacity or to compensate for a drop in acidity. How to use
Adults: Stir 2.5 g powder (equivalent to approx. ½ teaspoon) into a glass of water (approx. 200 ml) and drink daily. Take approximately 1 hour before or 1 hour after a meal
