Gall Pharma Vitamin E Capsules are a food supplement containing 15 mg vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol acetate) per capsule. The fat-soluble vitamin serves the body as an antioxidant, supports the immune system and protects the cells from oxidative stress.

Vitamin E is one of the fat-soluble vitamins. The term vitamin E covers a group of substances also known as tocopherols. These fulfil similar functions in the organism, but differ from each other in their chemical structure and biological activity. Vitamin E has antioxidant properties, i.e. it catches free radicals. These are aggressive oxygen molecules that can be produced in the body by smoking, UV radiation, harmful substances (e.g. heavy metals) or alcohol consumption and damage the cells. Vitamin E is said to have anti-inflammatory properties, support the immune system and influence blood clotting. Vitamin E 15 mg GPH capsules contain α-tocopherol acetate powder, which is made from high-quality soya oil.

This vitamin has the following functions

Free radical scavenger: Vitamin E protects the cell from free radicals. Our current living conditions - high levels of physical and mental stress, an unbalanced diet and negative environmental influences - promote the formation of free radicals. They damage the cells and are therefore involved in the development of many diseases. Vitamin E can protect the cell walls from the destructive influence of molecular oxygen.
An unbalanced diet, adolescent growth, pregnancy, breastfeeding, reduced vitamin absorption capacity in old age, alcohol, smoking, stress, medication, diets and sport can lead to an increased need for vitamin E. In these cases, supplementing the diet with vitamin E has proven to be effective.
