Gall Pharma Vitamin B12 Capsules are a food supplement containing 3 µg of vitamin B12 per capsule. It is essential for metabolic processes in the body, contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and promotes mental wellbeing.

Even a slight deficiency in vitamin B12 can lead to general malaise, such as general weakness, tiredness, memory problems, muscle weakness and problems with the skin and mucous membranes. Vitamin B12 is therefore a useful addition to the daily diet.

This vitamin performs the following functions:

Amino acids: Methylcobalamin contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
Red blood cells: Alongside folic acid and iron, vitamin B12 contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells.
Nervous system: Vitamin B12 is required for the synthesis of myelin, the structural component of nerve sheaths; therefore, vitamin B12 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system. For
vegans and vegetarians, a daily intake of vitamin B12 is advisable, as methylcobalamin is mainly found in animal-based foods. In older people, absorption is often reduced, and taking certain medicines can increase the risk of a vitamin B12 deficiency. In these cases, vitamin B12 supplementation has proven effective.
