Gall Pharma Saw Palmetto Capsules contain 25 mg saw palmetto extract, 1.4 mg vitamin B1, 1.6 mg vitamin B2, 2 mg vitamin B6 and 3 µg vitamin B12 per capsule. Protect the prostate from free radicals and provide important nutrients for the bladder and urinary tract.

The common name of the extract is Saw palmetto (Saw palmetto berry powder extract). The most important ingredients are steroids, saponins, fatty acids, phytosterols, volatile oils, resins and tannins. The fatty acids include linoleic, capric, caprylic, lauric, myrristic, palm and oleic acids. The main phytosterols are betasitosterol, stigmasterol, lupeol, lupenone and 24-methylcycloartenol. The North American Indians use saw palmetto berries as a home remedy, especially to support the urogenital tract.

• The saw palmetto belongs to the palm family. It grows on the Atlantic coast of North America. The plant is known by the names Serenoa serrulata, Serenoa repens and Sabal serulata. The plant is a small palm plant with large leaves. When ripe, it bears large, deep red to black berries. The berries were already used by the Indians to strengthen the body and for problems of the urinary tract. However, it is mainly the purified, fat-soluble extract that is used.
