Phosphatidylserine plays an important role in cognitive processes. Phosphatidylserine is found in many foods in varying amounts. Beef and chicken, for example, are rich in PS. Small amounts are also found in dairy products. With the exception of white beans and soya, vegetables contain hardly any PS. The daily intake from a normal diet can therefore vary considerably.
