Linseed oil ointment is a valuable skin care formula made from high-quality linseed oil and beeswax. Both components have a similar composition to the skin's natural oil, which is produced by the sebaceous glands to protect the skin. This makes linseed oil ointment very well tolerated and suitable for use on sensitive skin. Linseed oil is an excellent source of short-chain omega-3 fatty acids. In particular, linseed oil contains a high proportion of the essential alpha-linolenic acid. This ensures effective moisturising of the skin and provides intensive care for oily and flaky skin. Linseed oil also makes barrier-damaged skin beautifully smooth and supple again.
