The lemon (also known as lime) belongs to the rue family (Rutaceae) and is valued for its applications and high vitamin C content. Secondary plant substances (bioflavonoids) are extracted from the peel of the lemon, which have valuable antioxidant properties and act as radical scavengers in the body. They strengthen blood vessels and regulate their permeability. The vitamin C it contains is used to strengthen the immune system and to prevent colds when the body's defences are weak during the cold season or when there is increased physical and mental stress. During the menopause, bioflavonoids can reduce hot flushes and improve nocturnal calf cramps and exhaustion. They can also help to balance blood lipids and stimulate the formation of collagen in the body, which leads to supple skin and good wound healing

- Adults: Take 1 - 2 capsules regularly before meals with plenty of unsweetened liquid
- Notes: Increased citric acid content - caution with an acidic stomach. Contains yeast and soya.

- Composition per 1 capsule: 299 mg lemon juice powder, 20 mg vitamin C (25 % NRV*), 120 mg citrus bioflavonoids, 50 µg selenium (90 % NRV*) and 6.5 mg vitamin E (54 % NRV*) *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
