Fucus 2000® capsules from Gall Pharma are a dietary supplement with birch leaf extract and natural iodine from bladderwrack. They contribute to the natural iodine supply.
Fucus 2000® capsules are composed of bladder wrack (Fucus vesiculosus) and birch leaf extract. Bladderwrack, a North Atlantic brown algae, is a natural source of iodine. This essential trace element is a component of thyroid hormones and is therefore important for their intact production. Iodine deficiency causes an enlargement of the thyroid gland. Large parts of Central Europe are considered iodine-deficient areas and iodine deficiency is still a common phenomenon worldwide. In addition to iodine, bladderwrack also contains vitamins, minerals, polysaccharides and polyphenols, as well as fucoxanthin and fucoidan, a mucilage that boosts the body's defences. In combination with birch leaf extract, which is rich in bitter substances, the preparation can be used in fasting cures.

- Adults: Take 1 x 1 capsule after a meal with liquid.
- Note: Fucus 2000® capsules contain 50 µg iodine, therefore the capsules should only be taken by people with thyroid disorders after consulting a doctor.
Ingredients
- Ingredients: bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!); bladderwrack powder; birch leaf extract; capsule shell: gelatine; colouring in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide.
- Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: 1 capsule contains 50 mg birch leaf extract and 50 µg iodine (33.3 % NRV*) from bladderwrack powder. *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
