Folic acid belongs to the group of B vitamins and is also known as vitamin B9. Natural sources of folic acid are mainly pulses, spinach, wheat germ and wholemeal products. A folate deficiency occurs if there is insufficient intake through food or if an increased requirement, e.g. during pregnancy and breastfeeding, cannot be covered by an increased intake. The raw material Quatrefolic contained in these capsules contains folic acid in its activated form. It is therefore immediately available to the organism and does not have to be converted first. Quatrefolic helps with mood swings, tiredness, fatigue and improves cognitive functions.
