Directions for use

• Adults: For daily use.
• Contraindications: The salicylic acid corn plaster must not be used: • in cases of hypersensitivity to salicylic acid, salicylates or any of the other ingredients of the medicine. • in infants. • in patients with impaired kidney function. • Pregnancy: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you think you might be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. You should not use salicylic acid corn plasters during pregnancy, except for the short-term treatment of a single small callus or a single small corn. Oral forms (e.g. tablets) of this class of substance may cause side effects in your unborn child. It is not known whether salicylic acid corn plasters pose the same risk when applied to calluses or corns. • Breastfeeding: Do not apply to the breast whilst breastfeeding.
• Side effects: Local skin irritation (burning and redness) occurs rarely. In isolated cases, contact with the medicine may cause allergic skin reactions.

Ingredients

• Active ingredient: 1 plaster with a core weight of 80 mg contains: 24 mg salicylic acid.
• Other ingredients: Copolymer resin (Evatane), lanolin. Carrier material: Plaster fabric, rigid, coated on one side with acrylate, Paramoll, dried polyacrylate with polybutyl titanate as a cross-linking agent, hydroabietyl alcohol as an adhesive, acrylate-based copolymer (Acronal).
