Frontline Spot on Large Dogs 268 mg solution for dripping onto the skin 20 - 40 kg is a veterinary medicinal product for the treatment of dogs against flea, tick and hair lice infestation.
Indications
- Killing of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against adult fleas is maintained for 8 weeks.
- Killing of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The acaricidal efficacy against ticks lasts up to 4 weeks.
- Kills hair lice (Trichodectes canis).
- For the treatment and control of flea bite allergy (flea allergy dermatitis = FAD).

Directions for use
For external use only. To be dripped onto the skin. The animals should be weighed accurately before treatment.
A minimum dose of 6.7 mg fipronil per kg body weight is recommended.
- 1 pipette with 0.67 ml (S) per dog with a body weight of over 2 kg and 10 kg.
- 1 pipette with 1.34 ml (M) per dog with a body weight of over 10 kg and 20 kg.
- 1 pipette with 2.68 ml (L) per dog with a body weight of over 20 kg and 40 kg.
For dogs weighing over 40kg, use the combination of two pipette sizes that most closely matches the body weight. The minimum interval between two treatments should not be less than 4 weeks, as the tolerability of shorter treatment intervals has not been tested.
Instructions for use:
- Hold the pipette upright. Tap lightly so that the liquid collects completely in the main part of the pipette. Snap off the tip of the pipette at the designated point.
- Part the fur in the neck area in front of the animal's shoulder blades until the skin becomes visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and empty the contents completely by pressing several times at one point on the skin.
- The coat should not be moistened excessively with the veterinary medicine, as this will cause the coat to stick together at the application site. However, should this occur, the effect will disappear within 24 hours of application.
- The veterinary product spreads over the dog's entire skin within 24 hours.
