FemiProtect capsules are a food supplement with UREX® Lactobacillus strains Lactobacillus reuteri (RC-14®) and Lactobacillus rhamnosus (GR-1®) to support the female bacterial flora.

Vaginal flora, also known as vaginal flora, refers to the naturally occurring bacterial biome in the vagina. This is formed by different strains of bacteria. Lactobacillus species (lactic acid bacteria) are the most common. The vaginal flora can be affected by various influences, such as certain medications or a disturbed hormone balance.

Which bacterial strains are contained in FemiProtect?

femiprotect contains the patented and clinically tested UREX® Lactobacillus strains Lactobacillus reuteri (RC-14®) and Lactobacillus rhamnosus (GR-1®). Both strains were isolated from the female urogenital tract and occur naturally in the body.

FemiProtect contains at least 2 billion colony-forming units per capsule (CFU).

UREX® has shown possible positive effects in numerous clinical studies:

• Restoration and support of healthy vaginal flora (e.g. in cases of bacterial vaginosis or antibiotic use)
• Improvement of bacterial imbalances in the urogenital tract (dysbiosis)
• For irregular vaginal discharge (e.g. due to fungal infections)

How to use

• To be taken orally. Take 1 capsule daily with water.
• Advice: FemiProtect can also be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Ingredients: freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria*; maltodextrin; coating agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; colouring carrot concentrate. * 2 human bacterial strains: Lactobacillus reuteri (RC-14®) and Lactobacillus rhamnosus (GR-1®), with a total of at least 2 billion bacteria per capsule.
