Father Severin’s Walnut Shell Ointment uses the natural oils from walnut shells to nourish and protect your skin. Experience a soft, smooth feel on your skin.
The Walnut Shell Ointment uses the valuable tincture extracted from walnut shells, which is blended into a base of almond oil and lanolin. The almond oil in the ointment provides deep hydration and leaves the skin velvety soft, whilst lanolin, as a natural moisturiser, strengthens the skin’s barrier and protects against dryness. However, Walnut Shell Ointment is not only suitable for skin care. Thanks to its ingredients pyrogallol and hydrojuglone, the ointment also has a slight tanning effect, giving the skin a natural summer tan. Walnut shell ointment is therefore regarded as a gentle alternative to conventional self-tanning creams.
