The Pater Severin liquorice root camomile spray is a dietary supplement made according to an old monastery recipe for ingestion. Made from a 100 % aqueous/alcoholic extract of camomile flowers and liquorice root.
Preparations made from camomile flowers have good anti-inflammatory effects. When used internally, the wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties can help with stomach and intestinal complaints such as cramps and flatulence. Liquorice, also known as liquorice wood, belongs to the Fabaceae family. The characteristic ingredient of liquorice root is the sweet-tasting glycyrrhizin. Glycyrrhizin is said to have expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties
