Pater Severin Liquorice Root-Camomile Drops are a dietary supplement for oral use. The drops contain a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of camomile flowers and liquorice root.
Preparations made from camomile flowers have good anti-inflammatory effects. When used internally, the wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties can have an effect on stomach and intestinal complaints such as cramps and flatulence. Liquorice, also known as liquorice wood, belongs to the Fabaceae family. The characteristic ingredient of liquorice root is the sweet-tasting glycyrrhizin. Glycyrrhizin is said to have expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties.
