Hazelnuts enrich many a muesli and provide quick energy for in-between meals as an ingredient in trail mix. For the hazelnut ointment, the valuable hazelnut tincture is used and worked into an ointment base of lanolin, almond oil and jojoba oil. This combination has an astringent and softening effect that also cares for strained veins. Hazelnut kernel ointment reduces the appearance of twisted and highly visible veins on the legs and soothes unpleasant, itchy swelling in the anal area. Redness and irritation are reduced and the growth of irritating microorganisms is inhibited
