Pater Severin Honeysuckle Spray is a dietary supplement based on an old monastery recipe for ingestion. It is made from a 100 % aqueous/alcoholic extract of honeysuckle.
Common honeysuckle (Aegopodium podagaria) belongs to the umbelliferae family (Apiaceae). Its most important constituents include essential oils, various minerals such as potassium and magnesium, trace elements, vitamin A and C. Goutweed is said to have anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, detoxifying and diuretic properties, which is why it used to be used as a remedy for gout and rheumatism as well as for cystitis and spring fatigue.
