Father Severin Fenchelholz’s ointment is a skincare product made according to an ancient monastic recipe.
The fennelwood tree, native to North America, has a long tradition. It was considered sacred by some Native American tribes, as its extracts were believed to act as love potions. The Sassafras Ointment contains a natural extract of sassafras wood, whose scent was once prized in perfumes. Sassafras was also used in early toothpastes. Nowadays, the properties of this special tree are being rediscovered: the Sassafras Ointment provides soothing relief from insect bites and helps to soothe aching joints. The added almond and jojoba oils keep the skin supple.
