Pater Severin Salicylic Spirit 1% is suitable for massaging into the skin. Salicylic acid is an organic acid and is known for its keratolytic and antiseptic properties.
Salicylic acid is used to treat a variety of skin problems. A major advantage over fruit acids is that salicylic acid can penetrate deeper into the skin’s pores. The outer layer of the skin (stratum corneum) is loosened and dead skin cells are shed. This accelerated exfoliation stimulates the skin to renew itself more quickly. Blemish-prone skin also benefits from the positive effects of salicylic acid.

Directions for use
- Adults: Apply several times a day and allow to dry.
- Notes: Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not apply to mucous membranes or open wounds. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life: 60 months at room temperature! Local skin irritation such as a burning sensation, redness, dry skin or peeling, as well as allergic reactions, may occur.
