Salicylic acid is frequently used in dermatology. Salicylic acid is an organic acid and is known for its keratolytic and antiseptic properties. A major advantage over fruit acid is that salicylic acid can penetrate deeper into the skin pores. The upper skin layer (horny layer) is loosened and the dead skin flakes are removed. The accelerated desquamation stimulates the skin to renew itself more quickly. Salicylic acid is used for numerous skin problems (e.g. blemishes)

- Notes: Salicylic acid is a substance for superficial application. Apply a product containing salicylic acid evenly several times to a cleaned surface. Repeated application is advantageous. Wash hands well before and after use. Do not get in eyes, keep out of reach of children. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. The product is not a cosmetic, medicinal product or food supplement
