Salicylic acid is used for various skin problems. Salicylic acid is an organic acid and is known for its keratolytic and antiseptic properties. A major advantage over fruit acid is that salicylic acid can penetrate deeper into the skin pores. The upper skin layer (horny layer) is loosened and the dead skin flakes are removed. The accelerated desquamation stimulates the skin to renew itself more quickly. Blemished skin also benefits from the positive effects of salicylic acid

- Notes: Salicylic acid is a substance for superficial application. Apply a product containing salicylic acid evenly several times to a cleaned surface. Repeated application is advantageous.
