Sage (Salvia officinalis L.) is a genus of plants in the mint family (Lamiaceae). Sage is a versatile plant. It is rich in essential oils (e.g. cineol, camphene). The ointment is based on Cera lanae, combined with jojoba oil and sweet almond oil, which have excellent skin-nourishing effects.
