Sage (Salvia officinalis L.) is a genus of plants in the Lamiaceae family. Sage is a versatile plant. Sage is rich in essential oils (e.g. cineole, camphene). This can stimulate blood circulation in the skin. Sage is also said to have disinfectant properties. The ointment is based on cera lanae, combined with jojoba oil and almond oil, which has excellent skin-caring effects.
