Normally, the skin can cope well with individual irritants, such as air pollution, strong UV radiation, the stresses of everyday life and an insufficiently healthy diet. If the strain becomes too great, this becomes apparent on the skin. It can no longer maintain its protective barrier, and the skin becomes chapped, reddened and dry, whilst blemishes may develop. The oil extracted from rosehip seeds, also known as wild rose, is rich in vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids. This is beneficial for the skin, making it supple, moisturising it and supporting the body’s own immune defences.
