The primrose, also known as the Petri flower, cowslip or auricula, belongs to the primrose family (Primulaceae). The plant contains saponins as its most important ingredient. Saponins are very valuable for the skin. They are said to have fungicidal and antibacterial properties. They can also improve the skin's absorption capacity. Cera lanae, combined with jojoba oil and almond oil, serves as the ointment base, which has excellent skin-caring effects
