Father Severin’s Pecan Nut Ointment uses the natural oils of the pecan nut to nourish and protect your skin. Experience a soft, smooth feel on your skin.
Of all nuts, pecans have the highest nutritional value and are rich in minerals. Botanically speaking, the pecan is not a nut at all, but is classified as a stone fruit. For the Pecan Ointment, the valuable alcoholic extract of the Brazil nut is used and incorporated into an ointment base made from lanolin, almond oil and jojoba oil. Pecan Ointment harnesses the nutrient-rich properties of the pecan, which is rich in healthy fats, vitamin E and selenium. Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, and selenium help to protect cells from oxidative stress. Selenium repairs damaged skin and, thanks to its astringent properties, ensures a firm and even complexion. The ointment, which consists of wool wax, almond oil and jojoba oil, moisturises, nourishes the skin and supports its regeneration. It is particularly suitable for dry, irritated and mature skin and is quickly absorbed without leaving a greasy film.
