Pecans have the highest nutritional value of all nuts and are rich in minerals. Botanically speaking, the pecan nut is not a nut at all, but belongs to the stone fruit family. For pecan nut ointment, the valuable alcoholic extract of the pecan nut is used and incorporated into an ointment base of lanolin, almond oil and jojoba oil. Pecan ointment utilises the nutrient-rich properties of the pecan nut, which is rich in healthy fats, vitamin E and selenium. Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, and selenium help protect cells from oxidative stress. Selenium repairs damaged skin and its astringent properties ensure a firm and even complexion. The ointment, which consists of lanolin, almond oil and jojoba oil, moisturises, nourishes the skin and supports its regeneration. It is particularly suitable for dry, irritated and mature skin and is quickly absorbed without leaving a greasy film
