Orange blossom oil is extracted from the white, star-shaped flowers of the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium). This oil is said to have soothing effects. It is also said to have a soothing effect on the skin in cases of inflammation and pain. Orange blossom oil is incorporated into a skin-friendly ointment base. The orange blossom oil ointment soothes, moisturises and leaves the skin soft and supple.
